Tusshar is an awe of yesteryear actors

Being a son of much senior actor Jeetendra, Tusshar Kapoor is an awe of the yesteryear actors who have ruled the roost for decades. He truly believes that actors from the past were the real heroes as they did everything in a single film with no specific genre being followed.

"Look at actors like Mithunji, Rishiji (Kapoor) and others; they are all so natural till date," he says with admiration in his voice, "They have seen it, done all. In their films, they used to do comedy, action and romance. When we see them today, it all seems like so effortless. If you ask them, they would tell you that they have been doing it for decades and hence are very comfortable with their act."

He goes on to add in the same vein, "Yeh sab maharathi log hain pehle din se (these are experts since Day One). In today's films, we actors have slotted ourselves. We either do action, comedy or romance but everything is done separately, not in one single film."

Tusshar would next be seen in GOLMAAL 3 where he has shared the stage with Mithun Chakravorty.

"If you ask someone like Mithunji about the kind of work that he has done, he would tell you how in dozens of his films, he has done everything from dance, romance to action. These people have really lived their stardom in a big way," concludes Tusshar with a smile.

Starring Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Khemu in principal roles, GOLMAAL 3 releases all over this Diwali i.e. 5th November.
