Boman Irani is on cloud nine these days!

After making an interesting turn to small screen with his perfect hosting in India's first ever business game show 'The Pitch'. Boman has fetched yet another feather in his cap. After the declaration of the 57th National Award, Boman has a new reason to smile. His first solo performance in Shyam Benegal's WELL DONE ABBA has impressed the jury so much that the film has bagged an award for the Best film on social issue. If that was not enough, his latest blockbuster 3 IDIOTS got the Best Popular film award.

Looks like, the Virus of perfection is spreading to Boman. His Midas touch of selecting the best films has not only rewarded the actor but has also won him accolades from directors. In an interview, veteran Shyam Benegal said that he was glad that the film has been recognized but he honestly would have been happier if Boman Irani would have got the best actor award for his role in the film. His performance is fantastic and he truly deserved an appreciation for it.

The versatile actor has no regrets on not receiving an award. Boman said, "I am very happy that my films have got appreciated not only from the jury but also from the audiences. Acting is my passion and my reward is appreciation. I do not work for awards alone; they are only an added bonus."
