Akshay-Salman to shoot for TMK 'qawwali' from Monday?

Much before the humongous response to his latest blockbuster, DABANGG, choreographer turned director Farah Khan had roped in good friend, Salman Khan for an item song in her much talked about Christmas release, TEES MAAR KHAN. That Salman and Akshay (the lead actor of TEES MAAR KHAN) share a sparkling chemistry is known to one and all. David Dhawan's runaway hit MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI and the critically acclaimed JAAN-E-MANN (directed by Farah's hubby Shirish Kunder) proved beyond doubt that the audience simply adores their pairing. In fact the Salman-Akshay combination can also be likened to Amitabh Bachchan -Shashi Kapoor pairing of the seventies.

Moreover, in both her previous films, MAIN HOON NAA and OM SHANTI OM, Farah Khan had tried all the tricks in the trade to make the film more and more commercially viable. And one important factor was the super duper hit, techno 'qawwali' in MAIN HOON NA and the fusion 'qawwali'-cum-song in OM SHANTI OM. In a similar attempt to pep up TEES MAAR KHAN, Farah has now added a 'qawwali' which will feature the two hunks of Bollywood, Salman and Akshay, along with Katrina. The shooting of the song is expected to start from this Monday and continue for four days, after Salman's Norway sojourn.

In fact so thrilled is the 'Khiladi' that he posted a message on Salman's Twitter account saying that said he was looking forward to the two of them shooting together after a while!
