Katrina goes back in time for TEES MAAR KHAN

Get set to witness Katrina Kaif step into a different zone altogether. On one hand she is all set to burn the screen with her scorching act for the sensual number 'Sheela Ki Jawaani' in TEES MAAR KHAN. On the other hand she would be seen all grace personified in another track - a 'qawalli' - from the same film, which she would be shooting soon with Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar for company.

Confirms Farah Khan, the director and choreographer of her third film which would be complete after the shooting of this 'qawalli', "Yes, Katrina would be seen in an altogether different avtar in this 'qawalli'. While Akshay and Salman can be expected to have a lot of fun with this track, it is especially going to do a lot of good for Katrina since she would surprise the audience."

The surprise in store though is the PAKEEZAH look that Katrina would be carrying in this 'qawalli', a la Meena Kumari. It was close to four decades back when as a courtesan; Meena Kumari had impressed millions with tracks like 'Chalte Chalte' and 'Inhi Logon Ne' amongst many others. Circa 2010 and it would be nothing but an absolutely fresh experience to see Katrina getting into a similar garb.

Farah goes on to add though that this is not a regular 'qawalli' and has a quintessential Mumbaiyya feel to it with a 'masala mix' feel to it. "Katrina's look would be modeled on PAKEEZAH though I don't wish to spoil the fun by disclosing more than that as of now. There is a lot more to it", teases Farah before signing off.
