No overlap in 'ACTION REPLAYY' and 'TEES MAAR KHAN'

Akshay Kumar is having yet another eventful year in 2010 with two of his films - 'HOUSEFULL' and 'KHATTA MEETHA' - already releasing this year. Now if not for 'PATIALA HOUSE' moving to 2011, Akshay could well have gone through the stress of five films releasing in back to back manner with 'ACTION REPLAYY' and 'TEES MAAR KHAN' finalised to arrive before end of year.

Still, all worries had not yet ended for Akshay. After all there is not much gap between the release of two films with 'ACTION REPLAYY' arriving on 5th November and 'TEES MAAR KHAN' confirmed for 24th December release. With the two films separated by less than two months, it is apparent that there would be quite some running around for Akshay to keep some continued promotion rolling.


	ACTION REPLAYY and TEES MAAR KHAN

Says a trade insider, "There is so much at stake with both the films and it is imperative that 'ACTION REPLAYY' as well as 'TEES MAAR KHAN' arrive with a bang. Both come from reputed film makers (Vipul Shah & Farah Khan) with top actresses like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Katrina Kaif featuring opposite Akshay. Clearly, Akshay has a lot at stake over next 100 odd days."

All of this means that Akshay doesn't get a single breathing moment in months to follow. However, this is where Farah Khan and Shirish Kunder (Farah's hubby and producer of 'TEES MAAR KHAN') have come to Akshay's rescue. They have decided that they won't eat into the plans of 'ACTION REPLAYY' for even a day. Even though 'TEES MAAR KHAN' is clearly the biggest film of 2010, the promotional window would be limited rather than it going overboard.

"Yes, there has been a conscious call taken to ensure that promos of 'TEES MAAR KHAN' and 'ACTION REPLAYY' are not running simultaneously. While Vipul has unveiled his 'ACTION REPLAYY' and would occupy the promotional scene till first week of November at the least, we would be holding on to things till that time. There won't be any overlap whatsoever", says Farah Khan.

Well, that should be some relief for the makers of 'ACTION REPLAYY' here.
