Satish Kaushik joins the cast of DOUBLE DHAMAAL

Satish Kaushik will be seen after a long time in a comic role with Indra Kumar's DOUBLE DHAMAAL. The actor director was recently in news for his character roles in internationally acclaimed ROAD-THE MOVIE and BRICKLANE both of which featured him in a very serious, character oriented roles.

Satish Kaushik is fondly remembered for his comic character of 'Calendar' in the film MR.INDIA and also for comedy hits like SAJAN CHALE SASURAL & RAM LAKHAN, both of which got him the Filmfare best comedian award. Some of his other light films are HASEENA MAAN JAAYEGI, GHARWALI BAHARWALI, HUM KISISE KAM NAHI, HAD KARDI AAPNE and PARDESI BABU. Now, with DOUBLE DHAMAAL, Satish Kaushik will be back on the commercial Bollywood masala film arena, ready to tickle your funny bone once again!

Speaking on the subject, Satishji says, "I have always enjoyed comedy. Being from the theatre background, serious roles do appeal to me but its comedy that is truly challenging and rewarding as well. Working with Indra Kumar who is very good friend is a toast. It was fun shooting with Ritesh, Arshad, Aashish and Javed on very first day. They are a bunch of real brats and superb at improvisations. I am looking forward to DOUBLE DHAMAAL."
