Why Shahrukh calls cricket frenzy unfortunate?

In a milieu when cricket makes the billion strong population skip a beat every time team India is playing a match, Shahrukh Khan feels that it is time that other sports are also treated with same passion. Though, at the same time, King Khan does not deny the fact that cricket has a different fan following when compared to other sports in the country.

Talking about sports in general and cricket in particular SRK says, "Unfortunately, there is only one sporting event like cricket in the country while as there should be many more like it. I feel the hockey world cup and the Asian games should even generate the same kind of interest. But, yes, cricket is more than just a game for all of us and that's a fact that I admit."

SRK is kicked about India's victory in the semi's and the fact that the boys in blue are all set to clash for the world cup final game.
