Bipasha: I am not a method actor

After three heavy duty films - AAKROSH, LAMHAA and PANKH - Bipasha Basu would now be seen in a quintessential commercial 'masala' film DUM MAARO DUM. However she denies though that making the film was either too much of fun or exhaustion for her when compared to her aforementioned serious films or lighter affairs like ALL THE BEST or BACHNA AE HASEENO.

"At the end of the day, DUM MAARO DUM couldn't be taken lightly either. The subject here was pretty serious as the characters go through a lot of destruction and transformation. On days, we worked really long hours as well", she smiles, "Having said that, personally speaking I always have fun in every film of mine whether it is a realistic or a commercial entertainer."

"Nothing can stop me from chilling out if I really wish to. A film's genre doesn't make any difference. I had fun even during AAKROSH even though on-screen I was getting all beaten up (by the character played by Paresh Rawal)", she continues.

Elaborating on the manner in which she balances her real and reel persona, Bipasha says, "See, as a matter of fact I am not a method actor. I don't get serious an hour before a shot that requires me to go angry. Similarly I don't joke around unnecessarily if I have to do a comic scene next. I am a switch on and switch off actor. I am always glad with the very fact that am working. Nothing else matters. Period."
