Tusshar: I am not the hero in SHOR IN THE CITY

Most leading men would love to take credit of being the central protagonist in their films, especially so if that happens to be their home production. However Tusshar Kapoor could well belong to a different breed altogether as despite being the sole recognizable face in his upcoming release SHOR IN THE CITY, he goes on to maintain that he is one amongst the many parallel leads in the film.

'I am as equal as all other characters in the film.SHOR IN THE CITY is an ensemble affair and there is no point for me to claim that I am a hero in the film or anything. In fact there is no quintessential hero or heroine here. Neither am I the central character here nor is the film about me,' says Tusshar whose last big success too was an ensemble affair - GOLMAAL 3.

If one catches the promo of SHOR IN THE CITY, it is clear that the focus is not just on him but also other men like Sendhil Ramamurthy, Nikhil Dwivedi and Pitabash Tripathy.

'Yes, and that's because we all are an equal part of this noise ('shor'). The entire promotional strategy has been designed to establish this fact that none of us is too much or too less in the film. We all have equal importance and prominence here,' avers the actor,

SHOR IN THE CITY releases all over on Thursday, 28th April. The film is co-directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK who had earlier delivered a superb quickie thriller in the form of 99 (Kunal Khemu, Soha Ali Khan, Boman Irani).
