Farhan Akhtar reacts strongly to link-up rumours

Farhan Akhtar is disappointed and hurt with the news about his link-up with an assistant director. According to Akhtar, it's very unfortunate that such a story was created and printed.

He was quoted in an official statement from his publicist, "I'm surprised and upset by the complete disregard of the journalist's sense of ethics and lack of sensitivity to the effect such kind of skewed writing can have on a person's life."

He further goes on to add, "There has to be a line drawn between creative sensational journalism and personal attacks, it's just not a news piece here."

We hope this would end the speculations once and for all.
