Tigmanshu compares Nana Patekar to Garry Copper

Filmmaker Tighmanshu Dhulia, who made HAASIL with Jimmy and Irrfan Khan based on campus politics in UP, is super impressed with Nana Patekar and his attitude.

Nana Patekar plays the role of a stern policeman in Tigmanshu Dhuila's SHAGIRD. Apparently, Tigmanshu was adamant that the role of the cop ACP Hanumant Singh should be played only by none other than Nana Patekar himself.

When questioned Tigmanshu on the same, he replied saying, "Nana's walk is just like Garry Copper also the fact that the attitude Nana carries is just what I wanted for this role. He is amazing in the film."
The director also claims that this film will showcase Nana at his best, so it is a sure shot pleasure for all Nana fans.

Well, let's wait and watch Nana's avatar as the 'Garry Cooper of Bollywood'. Shagird releases on 13th May, 2011.
