Raveena learns rustic Marathi for GIN LIYA AASMAN

If there's one thing the gorgeous Raveena Tandon loves its taking up a challenge and that's exactly what she did when the bilingual GIN LIYA AASMAN was offered to her.

Taking her love for learning new languages a step further, Raveena is currently submerged in learning a Marathi dialect spoken in the interiors of the state for the film in which she plays mother to a six-year-old boy and wife to a naval officer who goes missing after a plane crash.

Not an alien language to her, given she 's a complete Mumbai girl, Raveena is taking pains to get nuances of the language right with the help of director Rishi Deshpandey.

Confirms Raveena, "I'm familiar with Marathi... But now I realize it's tough to learn the Marathi spoken in the interior villages of Maharashtra."
