Ranveer Singh: I am not scared of detractors

''BAND BAAJA BAARAAT was a fluke and he would face the real test with LADIES V/S RICKY BAHL Ranveer Singh is pretty much aware that in muffled tone, quite a few out there within the industry are pretty much saying this and waiting to strike as he gets ready for his second release.

''Even though audience gladly accepted his 'Bittoo Sharma' act in BAND BAAJA BAARAAT, not everyone in the inner circles of Bollywood was willing to give him much of a chance,' comments an industry expert, 'They felt that as an 'outsider', he didn't really deserve a place as a peer, contemporary or competition.''

Of course Ranveer was quite hurt by all the negativity surrounding him and he chose to be quite exclusive when it came to his interaction with media thereafter. After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, he finally came out of his shell for the promotion of LADIES V/S RICKY BAHL, only to find himself engulfed in unwanted controversies and speculations all over again.

On his part Ranveer is trying to keep a brave face and states that he doesn't want to give his detractors much importance.

''I know myself. I can't sleep at night if I am dishonest at work,' says Ranveer in a calm tone, 'See, at the end of the day detractors have a job to do so. Most have a motive and some who don't still like to spread a negative word just for the sake for it. I am not scared of them because I know that I have done my best in both my films.''

Yes Ranveer, you have for sure and that is visible yet again with the confident act put together for LADIES V/S RICKY BAHL.
