Simran Kaur Mundi: The next promising beauty queen!

Those who are well versed with beauty pageants will know that the lead actress of this Friday's JO HUM CHAHEIN, Simran Kaur Mundi, is an ex Miss India (2008) and a successful model, but the question that now arises is whether Simran has it in her to make it to the top in Bollywood as well?

Zeenat Aman, Poonam Dhillon, Tina Munim, Juhi Chawla, Namrata Shirodhkar, Sushmita Sen, Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, Diya Mirza, Diana Hayden, Neha Dhupia, Tanushree Dutta and Celina Jaitley, the list is long but amongst them only a few have really made it to the top slot. We can only pick out Zeenat, Aishwarya, Juhi and Priyanka amongst the long list who have had a major impact on cinema in India, and now the focus is on Simran Kaur Mundi.

Well, from the promos of this all out romantic film we can surely make out that Simran has all that it takes to make her mark in Bollywood. Good looks, confidence, attitude, nice dancing abilities and moreover she makes her debut with director Pawan Gill, who may be a debutant himself but has perfected his craft with none other than master of them all, the Chopras, and his film is inspired from their style of film making. And we can see that he has definitely presented Simran very beautifully (as is the norm in most Chopra films) on screen and she has reportedly done full justice to the film as well.

We are sure that just like Kajol, whose screen name coincidentally was Simran in DILWALE DULHANIYA LE JAAYENGE, Simran Kaur Mundi will surely find her place into the hearts of film goers.
