Nikhil's TAMANCHEY to use Coolio's 'Gangsta Paradise'?

After resounding critical appreciation for his performance in SHOR - IN THE CITY and RAAVAN, Nikhil Dwivedi is all set to explore the dark side of cinema in TAMANCHEY, rumouredly based on the love story of Abu Salem and Monica Bedi.

Sources on the sets reveal that Nikhil wanted to get into the skin of the character that he visited the jailhouses with some of the unit members of the film to research and understand the mannerism of gangsters, who were only too pleased to spend time with the actor.

Besides understanding the nuances and character traits of the gangsters, they also shared with him their love stories, which, the unit members who were with him felt at times was too close to the Acidic love story in TAMANCHEY.

Sources also reveal that when Nikhil Dwivedi heard one of the unit members playing 'Gangsta Paradise' sung by Coolio on his IPOD, he got excited and felt that it could be part of the soundtrack of the film.

Even the director agreed and has asked the unit to contact the music company for the rights of the song to be made in Hindi.

Wow, that would be some 'Gangsta Rap' in Hindi!!
