Arunoday: Getting work was tough due to my accent

US returned Arunoday Singh, who will now be seen in YEH SAALI ZINDAGI, says that it was tough for him to get work because of his accent.

The 27-year-old actor says, "My accent is very strange. People think that I can't speak Hindi. They feel that my accent is fake. I was in the US for ten years and I have an accent. Getting work was tough due to my accent. But I don't want to leave it."

Arunoday Singh, who has acted in three movies so far, is highly optimistic about YEH SAALI ZINDAGI.

He says, "I was part of SIKANDAR which nobody saw. There was AISHA, which a few people saw, then there was MIRCH which again few people saw. Now, it's YEH SAALI ZINDAGI, which I'm hoping a lot of people will see."

The actor is highly optimistic about his films. "I'm always optimistic. If you are not optimistic, you might as well not be in this industry. They'll kill you otherwise," he firmly states.

Aronoday plays a goon in YEH SALLI ZINDAGI. "I play a rough and tough gunda called Kuldeep. If they want to beat up someone, they don't send four people; they just send Kuldeep. He is madly in love with a girl and lies to her to get married," reveals Arnunoday.

Speaking about what made him do the film, Arunoday said, "It was easy to make a decision to do this film because the script is brilliant, the role is great and Sudhir Mishra is one of my favourite Indian directors."

Also starring Irrfan Khan and Chitrangada Singh, YEH SALLI ZINDAGI is set to release on 4th February.
