Chitrangada: I'm very happy with the sexy tag

Right from her debut film, HAZAARON KHWAISHEIN AISI, Chitrangada Singh has charmed men with her exquisite features. The gorgeous actress feels quite flattered, being called sexy and beautiful.

"That's my job. I have to be getting these compliments. That means I'm doing it well," says she with a smirk, "But seriously, I'm very happy with the sexy tag."

The 34-year-old actress is now all geared up with Sudhir Mishra's YEH SAALI ZINDAGI, in which she is paired opposite Irrfan Khan.

Ask her about what attracted her to the film and she says, "What I liked was that there was nobody in extreme; nobody was too bad or too good. Even the hero, played by Irrfan, was also not a person with all goodness. He has also got an edge to it. So is the girl I play in the film, she is also not all nice. She uses guys when she wants. So everyone is in-between and there is no good, bad or linear kind of thing."

Chitrangada is all praise for her co-star, Irrfan Khan.

She says, "He is master of subtlety. He has superb timing in comedy. He is so subtle that he throws his line before you could actually realise. That is what is refreshing about his comic performance as well."

Recently, she was romantically linked with Sudhir Mishra, which understandably, didn't go well with her at all.

"It did upset me a lot. Sometimes I think there's nothing much to write about me; so they just find something, you know. It probably just makes a good story, but the obvious link-ups will not happen."

She even felt weird meeting Sudhir after that.

"In my head, definitely I was feeling a bit awkward. Was there something? Why have people started thinking like this? I didn't start maintaining any distance though. Whether there is something or not, it just makes you feel uncomfortable within friends circle when people start asking certain things. It's silly," said the actress before signing off.
