Sanjay Mishra: The lucky charm of UTT PATAANG

Character actor Sanjay Mishra has proved his versatility in a number of films but he is best known as a comedian. Last year, two successful films, GOLMAAL 3 and PHAS GAYE RE OBAMA, saw Sanjay enacting roles that charmed the hearts of millions although it was definitely the role of Bhai Saab in PGRO that he will be remembered for a long time to come. Sanjay too agrees and discloses that he had high hopes from PHAS GAYE RE OBAMA and was very sure that not only the film but his character that of a don in the grip of recession would be loved by the public. And he is thrilled that it has turned out exactly as he had hoped, in fact the success of the film has indeed surpassed all expectations of the trade.

Now the good news is that Sanjay has equally high hopes from another film, UTT PATAANG that releases this Friday. Since the film is another comedy naturally expectations are high from Sanjay to deliver another memorable performance. The film also stars Vinay Pathak, Mahie Gill, Mona Singh, Saurabh Shukla, and without doubt the presence of these stars should indeed be an added bonus for the discerning audience which has shown that it loves films that are high on intellect as well as entertaining. Success of films like TERE BIN LADEN, PHAS GAYE RE OBAMA, NO ONE KILLED JESSICA have proved that!

Well, here is hoping for Sanjay to deliver his hat trick via UTT PATAANG which releases on 4th February along with Sudhir Mishra's YEH SAALI ZINDAGI.
