Hrithik Roshan: Shammi Kapoor is God of dance

His past few films like KITES and GUZAARISH may have failed to entice the audience, but that has not deterred the superstar, Hrithik Roshan to move ahead in life. On the contrary, his zeal and determination seems to be doubled as he makes his debut on small screen with dance reality show 'Just Dance' on Starplus.

Says the spirited Hrithik Roshan, 'I always believed in the spirit of competition. According to me competition is the only way you can actually have other people push you to excel in life. Competition is something that nurtures innovation drives that passion and just to show it takes that concept and philosophy to a whole new level. Probably to a level that has never been before.'


	HRITHIK ROSHAN AT THE LAUNCH OF JUST DANCE AT STAR PLUS

Hrithik Roshan, who is known for his mesmerizing dancing moves & styles, who has glorified dance through his career and has been tagged as the God of dance, finds veteran actor Shammi Kapoor an icon & inspiration for many dancers. He says Shammi Kapoor is the actual God of dance.

Says the modest actor, 'I am not any God of dance. There are far better dancers than me. According to me Shammi Kapoor is the best dancer because he went beyond steps, his body just moved to music, so he had magic moments there,' says Hrithik.

While on the international front he idolizes late Michael Jackson.

Hrithik is highly excited and just can't wait for the show to begin. 'I am very proud to be associated with the No. 1 GEC of the country Starplus and together with two of the best talents in our country, Farah Khan and Vaibhavi Merchant, who will accompany me in a mission to hunt the ultimate dancing champion from across the globe. I am looking forward with baited breath to Just Dance,' concludes Hrithik, who alongwith with best choreographers of nation, Farah Khan and Viabhavi Merchant, will judge the dance extravaganza, 'Just Dance'.
