Will Shahid rechristen himself?

With many scribes going gaga over Shahid's new film MAUSAM, which according to the actor is his most romantic roles till date, the question that comes naturally is: Will Shahid's performance surpass his fondly remembered romantic role in JAB WE MET? Will he rechristen the romantic in him?

Well, there are many reasons to believe what Shahid claims. Claims a film observer, "To begin with, Pankaj Kapur's script has an element of intenseness which surpasses Shahid's earlier attempts at playing the romantic. Moreover, given the fact that MAUSAM is Shahid's home production and marks the directorial debut of his dad, the father-son duo is leaving no stone unturned to make MAUSAM one of Shahid's best performance till date."

When it comes to Shahid's best romantic performance, JAB WE MET tops the list. But, with MAUSAM claiming to script his best romantic role ever, we wonder whether this referral point in Shahid's career is slated for a change.
