Rajkumar Gupta's NO ONE KILLED JESSICA turned out to be one of the only two clean hits of 2011. The hard-hitting film starring two frontline actresses, Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan, dealt with the murder of Jessica Lal and received lots of critical and more importantly commercial success.

Another high profile murder that shook the nation was that of poetess Madhumita Shukla and considering the fact that the whole story was almost like a murder mystery with lots of twists and turns it was but natural that a full length feature film has now been made. Starring the highly talented Divya Dutta the film is all set to release on the first of April.

When we contacted highly renowned 'Bhajan' singer, Anup Jalota, he confirmed to us that his upcoming film (reportedly titled MONICA) is all set to release on the 1st of April and it stars Divya Dutta, who essays the lead role of the poetess Madhumita Shukla and it is the bad man, Ashutosh Rana who can be seen essaying the role of the politician who is wanted for her murder.

Well, lets see if emulates NO ONE KILLED JESSICA and the audience patronises the film as much!
