LAHORE director signs John Palmer for his next

In his streak of signing the finest Hollywood crew for his next film, the National Award winning filmmaker Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan has signed another big name. He has roped in one of the best ever Hollywood Special Effect & Mechanical Effect Director, John Palmer, who has done some tremendous work in Hollywood. His work includes big and award winning films like ARMAGEDDON, APOLLO 13, SPECIES II, STAR TREK, DEEP IMPACT, THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW amongst many others. John is regarded as the founder of the Sci-Fi genre in films and is one of the best Special Effect & Mechanical Effect Director. He specialises in designing U.F.Os (Unidentified Flying Objects), space suits, space rover and space crafts for films and he will be doing the same for Sanjay's Indian film as well for which he will be travelling to India soon.

This is not the first time when India came calling for Palmer. Almost two decades ago Palmer was going to come to India along with Hollywood biggie Steven Speilberg for a project they were going to shoot in India. "India has always been on my planner, but I am finally going to be there because of Sanjay. I was to come to India almost 20 years back along with Speilberg, but unfortunately the project never took off. It is like a dream come true for me. I am so looking forward to this," says Palmer, who happens to be the highly demanded special effects and mechanical effects director in Hollywood. Sanjay's film will add the Bollywood tag to this genius' filmography.

Having won many accolades and awards for Lahore, Sanjay is all set for one of the biggest projects in the B-Town, which would have high-end content and a mass commercial value as well. Like his first film LAHORE, his untitled project already has a handful of big Hollywood imports.

"The film will be very much Indian at heart, despite the foreign crew involved. The foreign crew is as important as the casting here for getting the right feel of the film. The project really needs the top line experts in the sci-fi genre, for my film and nothing can be bigger than the names that I am finalising. I am trying to make the most authentic Sci-Fi movie in India ever and the way things are shaping up, I hope and believe that it will be at par with the international standards of cinema in the same genre," says enthusiastic and young Sanjay.

Meanwhile, Sanjay's script is being reviewed by a team of experts in USA under the "Script Evaluation" process, which is a latest technique to gauge the credibility and analyze and understand the dos and don'ts of a script. Script evaluation is the latest addition to Hollywood where it has been tried by legendary directors like James Cameroon, Martin Scorsese, and Steven Speilberg only, till date.
