She is the face of numerous leading Brands. Yes, we are talking about the lovely and erudite Tena Desae, a familiar face for millions of couch potatoes who like to have their daily dose of the now satellite laced idiot box!

All set for her first big screen debut with next Friday's Yogesh Mittal directed YEH FAASLEY, Tena told us the reason for signing on the dotted line. 'The first and foremost reason was that there was Mr. Anupam Kher and then the script. In a way I am playing the main protagonist. It was a very challenging role for a newcomer. I hope the audience too loves our efforts!'

Well, given the that 'small is beautiful' is the new keyword for success in Bollywood, what with films like UDAAN, TERE BIN LADEN and PHAS GAYA RE OBAMA (to name a few), scoring at the box-office, we are quite sure and hopeful that the newbie, Tena Desae will have reasons to smile next Friday as the promos of YEH FAASLEY are being noticed by the target audience!
