Akshay gets candid about his limitations

Akshay Kumar is getting candid about his limitations. The superstar does not believe in mincing words or posturing to please the public.

Recently, Akshay accepted the fact that expectations of commercial cinema sometimes makes stars like him and his ilk give a miss to some hard hitting cinema.

Akshay, whose film PATIALA HOUSE is getting set for release is not bothered about its fate at the box office till he feels he is trying to give something new to his audiences.

Talking about being constrained by commercial reasons most of the times, Akshay says, "I go and watch every film; I understand what the audience wants. When a person like me or Shah Rukh or Salman do a film, we have to collect a certain amount of money in the box office so that the distributors and exhibitors get their money back. So, we cannot do niche films because there is a limited niche audience for such kind of cinema."

Though Akshay may be missing doing hard hitting films given his commercial image and expectations, let's hope his next traces a fine balance between these two extremes.
