Is Anushka miffed?

PATIALA HOUSE was supposed to release in the second half of last year before ACTION REPLAYY (also starring Akshay Kumar) was given prominence over it and it was pushed to this year. Meanwhile the film's leading lady Anushka Sharma's other film BAND BAAJA BAARAAT was conceptualized, executed and released in record time, hence making it third Yash Raj film in a row for her.

"That's right, BAND BAAJA BAARAAT was shot much faster", Anushka nods in agreement here, "It was a quick film and was released soon as well."

Anushka denies though that she was miffed due to the delay in release of PATIALA HOUSE. "When PATIALA HOUSE was pushed ahead, it did make sense and worked in the favour of both the films", she says, "In a way it also worked for me personally as I could concentrate on BAND BAAJA BAARAAT."

The delay also meant that Anushka didn't have to stress herself with multiple shooting and promotional schedules. Not just did she go ahead and wrap up the shooting schedule of BAND BAAJA BAARAAT with ease, she could also promote it well before turning her attention towards PATIALA HOUSE which is releasing after a two months gap.

"Yes, it would have been all too clustered had both BAND BAAJA BAARAAT and PATIALA HOUSE releases close to each other. I am happy that the film was pushed to February. This has given me ample time to promote it."

Well, seems like aal izz well after all for the pretty girl here.
