U R MY JAAN introduces Mikaal and Preeti

In the times when Bollywood is experiencing a sudden spurt in comedy, action and suspense dramas we are about to experience a heart touching romantic film U R MY JAAN. The film projects the youthful and vibrant chemistry between the protagonist and the leading lady that takes us through the routines of a simple yet interesting love story.

U R MY JAAN is a story between Reena (Preeti) and Akash (Mikaal). Reena is a small town girl from Chandigarh, a bubbly girl, who aspires to make it big in Bollywood whereas Akash is a Billionaire from New York who is completely devoted to his business. Fate introduces these two opposite characters in Mumbai and the story brews around them which takes us through the gripping tale.

When asked about the decision of opting for newcomers Aron Govil said, "I would've loved to work with established stars. My experience of working with stars has given me the perspective to look at working with them. It is not easy to work with big stars as they have to manage their dates, commitments and other sundry issues. On the other hand the newcomers are eager to work and give more than 100% to the film. It is also very easy to work with them in terms of a director's point of view. Thus after considering all options I decided to go ahead and introduce new talent to the industry. Mikaal and Preeti have done good job in U R MY JAAN and I feel both have a great career ahead in Bollywood."

Produced under the banner of Aron Govil Productions Pvt. Ltd., the film introduces Mikaal and Preeti. Producer Aron Govil, who has conceptualised and written the story & screenplay, is also shouldering the responsibility of direction. Music is arranged by Sanjeev-Darshan and lyrics are penned by Sameer.
