Actor Rajeev Khandelwal of AAMIR fame is one of the few known faces of Anurag Kashyap's upcoming film, SHAITAN, apart from of course, Kalki Kochlein. While briefing the press about his role in the Bijoy Nambiar directed venture, the over choosy Rajeev explained that the film is about how to face the inner 'shaitan' (devil) that is present in all and every character in the film is fighting it and while some overcome the devil, others succumb to it!
CHECK OUT: SHAITAN is just not my film!
Talking about his role in detail, Rajeev explained that he essays the role of a police officer Arvind Mathur in SHAITAN and it's his anger that is his inner devil or 'shaitan' in the film. He goes on to add that his character is not very expressive and so Arvind finds a lot of problems creeping up in his personal and professional life. Rajeev credited the director Bijoy Nambiar for discovering a new range of acting histrionics inside him and also expressed his satisfaction in the manner in which his character has been handled. Rajeev also said that he is very positive about his approach to his work and is never afraid of challenges and is always ready to experiment.
Definitely it goes without saying that when SHAITAN releases worldwide on 10th June Rajeev's acting will be the highlights of this film.
