From the traditional Punjabi 'kudi' Parminder of the laugh riot, KHICHDI THE MOVIE, to the model of countless ads, and the upmarket Tanya Sharma of Anurag Kashyap's SHAITAN, it has been quite a radical transition for the pretty actress Kriti Kulhari. We know that change is essential but why such a big switch?

 'As an actor SHAITAN is a very exciting film and that is what I look for,' says Kirti. Is SHAITAN a horror film as some think? Kirti answers in the negative and elaborates, 'It is a dark and hard-hitting film. Yes, you will feel scared, but from your own inner self, which is the shaitan/devil within. In fact during the shoot I experienced certain things that I hope never happens to anyone!' She concludes by saying, 'I also chose the film to know firsthand what the youth of today thinks and wants.'

Well, SHAITAN releases this Friday and from what we have heard from Kirti, the film surely excites us too!
