Asin and Kareena: The two double centurions!

Just a handful of films, in fact four to be precise have achieved the 100 crore and above mark in terms of the revenue generated at the ticket window - GHAJINI, 3 IDIOTS, GOLMAAL 3 and DABANGG, and it is now more or less certain that Salman Khan's Anees Bazmee directed READY is all set to cross the magical 100 crore figure. When we mention the aforementioned films two names stand out loud and clear.

Well, we are not talking about the two Khans, Aamir and Salman, who figure out prominently in the films but two actresses who have quite ended up as double centurions. Yes, the first is obviously Kareena Kapoor with two films crossing the 100 crore mark, GOLMAAL 3 and 3 IDIOTS. The other is the sensation from south, Asin whose GHAJINI and now READY is nearing the 100 crore mark. Naturally it is a big achievement and will surely propel Asin right up the top slot and prove to be a slap on the faces of her detractors, who had called her a one film wonder after the failure of LONDON DREAMS.

Well, let us see if media's latest apple of the eye, Sonakshi Sinha, the only other in the 100 crore plus club catches up with Bebo and Asin with quite a few interesting films coming up.
