Anurag's next avant-garde film - VIBRATOR!

It is not another 'crazy vibrator' or 'dil-do pagal hai' punch-line a la SHAITAN - the Bijoy Nambiar directed and Anurag Kashyap produced film that is already affirmed as a great cult classic and a 'defining moment in the history of cinema' by the learned Indian film reviewers of various hues and cries. Anurag Kashyap has been seriously contemplating making a film about a character who turns into a vibrator because he has no other way of expressing his deep-seated angst. The only way to get rid of his negative energy is to vibrate. He narrated the entire premise and the story of the VIBRATOR film in a nutshell to his audience that included the likes of Leela Samson, Amit Khanna, and Mahesh Bhatt. Anurag is not too sure that he will be able to make his film in India since the rules of censorship may not permit him to do so. The revelation came during a 'Samvaad' between the film making community and the CBFC officials.

Later, in her concluding remarks, the CEO of CBFC Pankaja Thakur tried to dispel Anurag's fears and said that the Board always gave the benefit of doubt to filmmakers in such cases. She cited the example of the controversial D.K. Bose song of DELHI BELLY and also referred to a famous legendary Marathi film-maker and his penchant to come up with dramatic titles that were open to various lurid interpretations. She said that the Board was aware of the D.K. Bose and Bose D.K. controversy yet when the filmmakers informed it that no double-entendre joke was intended and the song was merely referring to a harmless Bengali character being urged to run for his life in the face of an impending storm, the explanation was accepted and the song was cleared.
