Faruk Kabir and Rukhsar to debut on stage!

Faruk Kabir who debuted as an actor and director with critically acclaimed ALLAH KE BANDAY which was nominated in most of the awards this year and film actress Rukhsar, who are co-incidentally real life couple are all set to debut on stage in a play titled "Falsafa" which will be directed by Pawan Uttam and produced by Rangbazz Theatre company which has produced hit plays like "Bade Miyah Deewane"

Faruk Kabir says, "It's an original play and its four beautifully crafted funny stories are like a comment on our present times through different lives of contemporary people who view their tragedy with humor. It is the first time I would be doing theatre and I would be playing a romantic poet in the play"

Rukhsar adds, "I am very excited. I have never done a play before so it's a new medium of acting to look forward to. I am not paired opposite Faruk but if someday somebody offers us to act together it will be fun."

Play readings will start this month end and play will open in April or May. Faruk Kabir has got couple of offers as a director as well as actor and he is going through various scripts at the moment. Rukhsar is best remembered for films like SARKAR, ALLAH KE BANDAY and KNOCKOUT and will be seen next in BHEJA FRY 2.
