When Sunny Deol wept in a dark room!

Super stars are more often than not a victim of their own 'on screen' image and who better than macho man Sunny Deol to know that as he has definitely suffered the most at the hands of his die-hard fans who always expect him to come up with a GADAR like performance. More often they forget that apart from being a superb action hero, Sunny has delivered mind blowing performances (including a National Award) in films like GHAYAL, DAMINI, DILLAGI, JEET and APNE.

In fact Sunny Deol has recently admitted that it's ironical that films like GADAR and HERO are remembered more for their action scenes whilst they had so many emotional scenes as well because according to him it is these scenes that make a film.

Our patrons will remember that it was we who broke the news about Sunny acting in Dr. Chandrapraksh Dwivedi's next and we even gave you the name of the book 'Kashi Ka Assi' on which the film, now titled MOHALLA ASSI is based. And we have more good news that we will be treated to some beautiful emotive scenes from the class actor.

Talking about MOHALLA ASSI Sunny has revealed that though the film has got its funny moments as it has a lot of humour but there are many emotional scenes too. In fact a crew member revealed that prior to the shoot of a particular emotional scene with co-star Sakshi Tanwar, Sunny sat quietly in small dark room weeping silently in order to get into the mood for that shot. The director also confirmed that Sunny has delivered some brilliant sequences in the film and has acted so well that one doesn't realize that he is Sunny Deol as he has simply gotten into the skin of the character.

Well, Sunny is looking every bit the Banarsi Pandit with his big moustache, off white starched 'dhoti kurta' and one can rest assured that we can definitely expect another award winning performance from him.
