Pankaj Kapur and Om Puri to clash

Close to three decades ago, there were two youngsters who came together in a classic called JAANE BHO DO YAARON (1983). Though they never were never seen sharing space in a film ever again, Om Puri and Pankaj Kapoor would forever be remembered as Ahuja and Tarneja respectively.

Now strangely, for the first time in three decades, these two men would have a release to their name on the same day. Ironically though, this time around they won't be sharing a common frame and would instead be locking horns with each other as the duo would be seen in different films.

"While Pankaj Kapoor would be seen in the title role of HAPPI, Om Puri is playing the eldest brother in TEEN THAY BHAI. Incidentally both these films would be releasing on the same day i.e. 15th April", informs a trade source who was amused when he came across this fact.

"Is something like that really happening? That's some coincidence; really", says Bhavna Talwar, director of HAPPI, in a shocked tone when informed about the coincidence, "I guess we should all plan for a reunion party for our senior actors. We should be wishing each other luck and hope and pray that both these films are successful. To be separated for so long and then challenging each other through movies of your own doesn't happen every day."
