Rani: With TV one connects with the audience instantly!

Even though Rani Mukherjee has made quite a few appearances on television but most have been in connection with the promotion of her films and some chat shows but she has yet to appear in a show which she can call her very own. And there is good news for the couch potatoes and that is after having essayed the role of a television journo in NO ONE KILLED JESSICA to perfection, Rani Mukherjee is quite open to the idea of actually saying yes to a television show and she has some pretty solid reasons.

For a start, Rani believes that television is one medium that the audience connects instantly with as it has a very wide reach and she wants to stay connected with the audience. Another reason that Rani has given is that on an average she now does only one film at a time in one year and so she has a lot of spare time which she can put into television. But Rani has insisted that she will only do a television show only if the offer is fantabulous and interests her and challenges her personally as an actress.

Well, we are sure that like in movies, Rani will really excel in television as well.
