Ashish: The USP of DOUBLE DHAMAAL is we have two girls!

There is no doubt that DHAMAAL was a comeback of sorts for the original master of slapstick comedy (a genre being exploited left right and centre today!), Indra Kumar. Not only was the comic caper highly entertaining, it also had that subtle edge-of-the-seat element about it. It was but a formality that the sequel was pleading to take off, albeit a wee bit behind schedule due to a few unavoidable circumstances.

A plus factor for DHAMAAL was that despite the presence of stalwarts like Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi and Javed Jaffrey, it was the handsome young star, Ashish Chowdhary who held his own but the actor humbly credits the co-stars for his performance.

While DOUBLE DHAMAAL has been in the news for quite sometimes it grabbed the headlines recently due to the "Jalebi Bai" song picturised on the sultry Mallika Sherawat at a casino set of Mumbai's Mehboob Studios.

The unit of DOUBLE DHAMAAL is all set to take off for the next schedule in Hong Kong and Macau this Sunday. Before the departure we caught up with Ashish and asked him as to whether the film was indeed a sequel to DHAMAAL. And he said, "Yes, it is. We are continuing from where we left off in DHAMAAL!"

Not willing to let go Ashish so easily we queried as to what is the USP of DOUBLE DHAMAAL and the witty actor had a tongue-in-cheek reply, "The USP is definitely the fact that unlike DHAMAAL this time around we have TWO beautiful girls-Kangna Ranaut and Mallika Sherawat!"

Well, here is wishing a bon voyage and a 'dhamaal' time to the unit of DOUBLE DHAMAAL in the Pearl of The Orient, Hong Kong, and the casino country, Macau!
