Akshay congratulates Bazmee for THANK YOU

Though Anees Bazmee has delivered two super-hits with Akshay Kumar in the form of WELCOME and SINGH IS KINNG, one thing that he always missed was getting heartfelt compliments from the actor. Though there were customary congratulatory messages and appreciations being exchanged after the film's completion and subsequent success, there was no sense of going gaga over the work being done. However this has now changed with THANK YOU as Bazmee is flooded with compliments from the film's cast and crew with Akshay leading the bunch.

"As individuals we really like each other a lot and hence there is no sense of formality or artificialness between the two of us", says Bazmee who could well be making a hat trick with Akshay here, "Due to this, he doesn't come and say kind words just for the sake of it even if it is his own film. He was quite happy about WELCOME and SINGH IS KINNG. However the way he is ultra charged about THANK YOU is something that I have never seen before."

For his latest multi starrer, Bazmee has roped in number of actors ranging from Bobby Deol, Suneil Shetty to Irrfan Khan. While each of these actors have been unanimous in terming THANK YOU as one laugh riot that is waiting to explode, Akshay has confided in Bazmee that this would be a special film for both of them.

"After dubbing for just 30 minutes of the film, he called to tell me that he was glad with the way THANK YOU was shaping up", Bazmee continues in an exhilarated tone, "Bahaut tareef kari unhone meri. I could sense how immensely satisfied he was with the film. I just told him that hamaare shaayad sitaare mil rahe hain, isiliye humne pehle bhi hit films di hain aur ab phir denge."

Well, well, we would know once we see it for ourselves on 8th April once the film hits the screens.
