Shiney Ahuja gets 7-year jail sentence for rape

Shiney Ahuja was sentenced to seven years' rigorous imprisonment by a fast track sessions court in Mumbai for raping his maid, as per the reports. The verdict was announced even after the victim turning hostile during the trial.

Shiney was accompanied by his wife Anupam when the judgement was delivered. His mother also arrived after a while.

His lawyer Shivde said they would appeal the High Court against the order.
