MURDER 2 music all set to continue Emraan-Bhatt magic

MURDER 2 is up for release this summer and while one waits to see what the film's lead Emraan Hashmi is up to this time around, one thing that one can be sure about is its music. MURDER boasted of memorable songs and just like Rajesh Khanna who used to have a winning streak in the 70s when it came to the music of his films, Emraan too has been enjoying his own place under the sun, especially when it comes to working with the Bhatts.

Says Emraan with a smile, "Well, people have given me that compliment when it comes to music. It is scary actually because expectations are so high from you all the time. One has to constantly match up to these expectations. Thankfully till now I have been meeting such high expectations; it is always great to be striving for the best."

While he still sounds pretty grounded when it comes to music in his films, the fact that cannot be denied is that when it comes to his association with Pritam, it has always resulted in guaranteed chartbusters.

"Did you just say 'guaranteed'? See, I just told you how scared I get when such statements are made", laughs Emraan, "I guess we both are just very fortunate. Pritam makes fantastic music and I am just a face who takes it forward. He has got that special space reserved for me when it comes to creating romantic songs."

It is a different matter though that Pritam hasn't composed music for MURDER 2. One looks forward to what do others have to create in the vacant slot available. After all with the songs of MURDER (Bheege Hoth Tere, Kaho Na Kaho) still playing on despite seven years passing by, the new composing team for MURDER 2 indeed has some big shoes to fill.
