Month of May is a witness to two youth comedies - LUV KA THE END and PYAAR KA PUNCHNAMA. Aiming at enticing the young audience, both films have been pretty much focused on the crowds that they were targeting.

The way LUV KA THE END has fared is known to one and all with the film not just finding mixed reviews coming its way but also not quite seeing much appreciation from the youth. However the makers of PYAAR KA PUNCHNAMA are confident about the fate of their film as they believe that they have all the right ingredients in place that have enabled this 'all newcomer' affair to strike the right balance in bringing something different while also keeping the mind the commercial quotient.

"We don't know about films being made by others and also it is not our business to pinpoint on what went right or wrong there," says Abhishek Pathak, the film's producer, "We started PYAAR KA PUNCHNAMA a year ago with the single point agenda of entertaining the audience by telling a story which is different yet something that everyone can relate to."

PYAAR KA PUNCHNAMA is about three young professionals (played by Kartik Tiwari, Rayo Bakhirta and Divyendu Sharma) who are roommates and share their highs and lows as they fall in and out of love.

CHECK OUT: LUV KA THE END Movie Review

"We haven't been frivolous in our approach to storytelling," adds first time director Luv Ranjan, "There is no imagination running wild in narrating any scene by bringing on anything that is fictitious. There isn't anything made up about any incident in the film. Everything that you see is something that I have seen happening around me or based on an experience shared by a friend. It is as real as it gets though with dollops of fun element thrown in."

Well guys, hope this time around the claims are indeed true and the film turns out to be a wholesome entertaining experience. In any case we would want to believe it all only when we check out the film ourselves on 20th May.
