Mahakshay: I'm the same as before HAUNTED 3D's success!

As we had predicted and later confirmed, Vikram Bhatt's Mahakshay starrer, HAUNTED 3D, ruled the weekend decimating the competition from both Bollywood and Hollywood.

Coming to the number crunching, HAUNTED- 3D netted about 9.5 crore during the opening week itself as opposed to 2.30 crore for Yash Raj's (Y-Films) LUV KA THE END.

So, how does the lead man, Mahakshay Chakraborthy aka Mimoh feels? And the humble Mimoh floors us with his down to earth response saying, "I am the same as I was on last Thursday, (before HAUNTED- 3D) released. Nothing has changed though I am very satisfied with the performance of HAUNTED."

When queried about how he feels about the fact that he had received a lot of flak for JIMMY but has been praised here, across the board, Mahakshay says, "I feel relieved and also responsible." Why so, as a lot of makers must now be eager to sign him? And Mimoh says, "Sir, that is what most of the people are asking me - 'So, when are you signing your next film?' To that I have said that after the positive response and opening success of HAUNTED 3D I feel more responsible. After all HAUNTED has netted more than 9.50 crore during it's opening weekend (including the dubbed versions) and so I feel I have become more answerable."

Well, given the fact that in this lean phase HAUNTED 3D had a very steady Monday too, we can safely say that the film is all set to succeed at the ticket window. And after this good news we can only wish Mahakshay all the best and more and more success.
