PROJECT 11 - From Mumbai to the World

PROJECT 11 a short film premiering on 11.11.11 at 11.11 AM IST, has come a long way from being shot in 11 different cities of the world to a computer screen near its audience.

In a unique experiment, 11 directors from various countries in the world collaborated to make this short film, which has a story that travels across these 11 cities with 11 principal characters.

In an elaborate process 11 filmmakers were shortlisted from across the world, by using every free (internet) medium available. The 11 filmmakers followed a locked screenplay and shot their respective segments based in their cities.

A shot-by-shot Storyboard was prepared in active consultation with the filmmakers and then sent to each for reference. The final material was received in Mumbai and then put together by Vikas Chandra with the help of Editor Geeta Singh.
