DESI BOYZ Akshay Kumar and John Abraham are Bruna's heroes

Though Chitrangda Singh and Deepika Padukone have managed to turn heads with their sizzling chemistry on display opposite Akshay Kumar and John Abraham respectively, the woman who has actually managed to address the two hunks as her 'hero' is none other than Bruna Abdullah. Though it was declared some time back that Bruna would be featuring in an item number for the film, there was huge suspense around which song would it eventually turn out to be? However as it has turned out, the song in question is 'Tu Mera Hero (Subah Hone Na De)'.

"Yes, it is indeed Bruna in the song," informs a senior crew member, "In fact she has gone through a complete look makeover for the song, so much so that even her close friends and family members couldn't recognise her. In her earlier two item numbers, whether it is 'Rahem Kare' (CASH) or the title song of I HATE LUV STORYS, she had an overtly sexed up persona. However for DESI BOYZ the brief was to come across as a cute-n-sexy Barbie doll, something that she managed pretty well."

No wonder, Bruna is feeling lucky to have bagged the small though important part. More so because as per grapevine, even Jacqueline Fernandez as well as hot-n-happening swimsuit model Angela Jonsson were considered for this jig.

Informs a close friend of the actor, "Bruna is ecstatic to have done 'Tu Mera Hero' which is quite popular in discotheques already. In any case she was quite comfortable with Akshay since she was one of the participants in his 'Khatron Ki Khiladi' some time back. She had great fun matching steps with both him as well as John."

DESI BOYZ releases all over on 25th November 2011.
