Ramu's new find for DEPARTMENT, speaks up

It is impossible to disassociate Ram Gopal Varma from his leading ladies, especially when they are beginning their career with him. All of 20 years of age, newbie Madhu Shalini couldn't escape the link up either, now that she is starting her stint in Bollywood with his DEPARTMENT. As the film nears its completion, rumours around her being the newest muse of the maverick director have started catching steam.

Says a close associate, ''It seems like everyone just makes up his mind to link Ramu with his girls even though there is no evidence to substantiate such claims. It is really disappointing for her but she has decided to rather ignore such loose talks.''

Well, even though Madhu has decided to just play her part in DEPARTMENT, rumours are only set to ignite further since she would be a lot more visible in weeks to come due to an integral part that she plays in the film. After all in a male dominated affair like DEPARTMENT which has Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Rana Daggubati heading the cast, Madhu has been cast in an important role of a gangster, something which is a first for the director as well.

''Of course I don't like the turn of events one bit when it comes to all the link up theories. However I am sure if I wouldn't have played this part then someone else would have and then her name too would have been linked with Ramu. It is sickening but then guess what, I don't really care'', says Madhu on a tone which is far more commanding than her age may suggest.

Well Madhu, all we can say here is - 'Welcome to Bollywood'!
