DESI BOYZ in THE DIRTY PICTURE with DON 2!

The second half of the year has seen a high number of successful films. Starting with DELHI BELLY on 1st July followed by MURDER 2 on 8th and rounding of July with SINGHAM on 22nd July.

The month of August and September too proved to be fruitful with two films, BODYGUARD, which turned out to be a blockbuster and the hit MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN. There was lull for a while but box-office suddenly came alive once again with RA.ONE and ROCKSTAR.
However, that is not all as trade expects expect quite a few films to start with a bang and succeed in the coming weeks. Amongst the films that are certain to open big are DESI BOYZ, THE DIRTY PICTURE and of course, DON 2.

The first to release on 25th November is DESI BOYZ, and it's interesting promos, catchy music and the star cast comprising of the likes of Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone and Chitrangda Singh should surely ensure a good opening for DESI BOYZ.

The good opening of Balaji Motion Pictures' THE DIRTY PICTURE, which releases on 2nd December, is a foregone conclusion. It's interesting star cast consisting of Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah, Emraan Hashmi and Tusshar Kapoor, its super hit music, especially the song, 'Ooh La La' and superb promotions will definitely see the film embarking upon quite a good start.

Last but not the least is Shah Rukh Khan's DON 2 which will release on 23rd December. The festive Christmas period combining with the fact that it's a sequel to Shahrukh's highly successful DON - THE CHASE BEGINS and of course it's star cast Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta and Boman Irani will certainly see DON 2 off to a flying start at the ticket window.

However, what is most important is that the above mentioned films should also sustain well so that they can turn out to be big hits and end the year on a high for the Hindi film industry and all connected with it.
