No target audience for Kunal Kohli

While Bollywood filmmakers are increasingly talking about films made for a certain target audience, here is a filmmaker who thinks otherwise.

In today's time when markets are increasingly functioning on the divide between urban multiplex audiences and small town single screen audiences, giving rise to films catering to specific audiences, it seems filmmaker Kunal Kohli does not see this divide as he gets set with his romantic tale starring Shahid and Priyanka in the lead.

According to the filmmaker, 'My film is not targeted to any specific audience. Though there are films that are made for target audiences, I think my film has the potential to appeal to all kinds of audiences be it the multiplex goers or the B & C towns.'

Speaking about the chemistry between his lead pair Shahid and Priyanka, the filmmaker adds, ''It was great working with Shahid and Priyanka in the film. I believe the two share exceptional chemistry which was clearly visible in their film KAMINEY as well.''

Kunal Kohli's untitled romantic film with Shahid and Priyanka is slated for release in June 2012.
