Priyanka gets back on track with DON 2

Priyanka Chopra is definitely going through a strange predicament. There are times when she has a flurry of releasing eating up practically every day of the year (she had six releases in 2008) and then there are times like now when it is almost a barren phase, what with a film each at just the beginning and end of year. Now that her DON 2 is up for release, it would be after a hiatus that Priyanka would be seen on the big screen.

"This isn't something that Priyanka would have bargained for," says an industry insider, "Out of sight is clearly the case of out of mind. In case of Priyanka it further accentuates since her 7 KHOON MAAF was a big flop and a critical failure as well. When your last film doesn't do well and the break is as long as this, it is never a pleasant experience."


	DON 2 THEATRICAL TRAILER

Priyanka could well be feeling the pinch even though she can be expected to be much prepared about how 2011 would look like at the beginning of the year as well.

"Well, she has had breaks but seldom more than 5-6 months. A gap of close to a year is something that Priyanka could see coming when her movie schedule was drawn out. Yes, she must have hoped that AGNEEPATH may arrive earlier but looking at the choc-o-bloc state of biggies that are competing with each other in next three months, it made sense for it to move," says a source, "She didn't want to sign a quickie in the interim period just for the sake of it. Anyways, starting with DON 2, it should be back to busy times for her."

Well, we too would want to believe the same.
