The Kingfisher Calendar 2012 model hunt begins

The Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar needs no introduction and neither does The Hunt for the Kingfisher Calendar girl! The first look of the reality show that has made waves across the nation was unveiled by Dr Vijay Mallya, Chairman, United Breweries. Also present on this occasion were the judges of the hunt Atul Kasbekar, Milind Soman and Ujwala Raut.

The third season of the show promises to be even more sizzling and sensational and what makes it even more exciting is that the winner will score a perfect ten by being a part of the 10th edition of the Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar. Industry experts -ace photographer Atul Kasbekar, top model and actor Milind Soman and ramp scorcher Ujjwala Raut are searching for the girl with oomph, attitude and the perfect figure. 15 girls are chosen from the nation- wide hunt to compete against each other and face the challenges set by the judges and prove that they are worthy of gracing the pages of the celebrated calendar.

Talking about the 3rd season of the show, Samar Singh Sheikhawat, Senior Vice President Marketing, United Breweries Ltd said, "Hunt for the Kingfisher Calendar girl has been synonymous with best in style, glamour and fashion. This reality show aims at finding fresh talents and giving them a platform. I would like to thank my entire team and the channel for putting up such a wonderful show and I am sure it will leave the viewers enchanted and asking for more."

Smeeta Chakrabarti, CEO, NDTV GoodTimes adds, "The Hunt for Kingfisher Calendar 2012 is in its third season and we are really excited about it. The property has a committed fan following and a loyal advertiser base as well... This show is one of the main highlights for our September quarter."

15 girls, 9 weeks, 3 judges. Who will succumb to the pressure and who will survive and the trials and tribulations of this demanding competition? As if the pressure of performing challenging tasks isn't enough, glamorous photo shoots under the 24x7 surveillance of the discerning celebrity judges will keep the girls on their toes. The hunt for the Kingfisher Calendar 2012 will bring surprise twists and intense competition to the girls at each stage.

Each episode has been shot at the breathtakingly beautiful Sheraton Udaipur Palace resorts and spa Hotel which offers a perfect backdrop to the show.

Catch the excitement glamour and suspense of who will emerge winner and will be immortalized in 10th issue of the Kingfisher Swimsuit Special.
