Prateik and Ahana all set to be second time lucky

Prateik would be soon beginning shoot for his next film 2ND TIME LUCKY and seems like the title holds true to real life for the young actor in more ways than one.

"The title seems to be just apt for Prateik, especially after his MY FRIEND PINTO has now bombed in a big way," quips an insider, "This Sanjay Leela Bhansali production was Prateik's first as a solo lead and now all eyes would be on his next to see if he would get 2nd Time Lucky. Pun intended."

Other interesting fact is that this is the second film for which Prateik and Ahana Deol have been considered as a pair, the first being ROMEO AND JULIET.

"It was way back in February when Hemaji had decided to launch Ahana with Prateik in ROMEO AND JULIET," says an industry source, "Aparna Sen was chosen as the director as well. However at that time the film couldn't happen and Hemaji too started scouting for a different film and hero. However she too got second time lucky as it was destined that Ahana would be launched with Prateik. Shoojit Sircar was brought on board and now he is working with the duo."

While Prateik is now working on ROMEO AND JULIET alongside another debutant girl with director Manish Tiwary, for Shoojit too it is nothing less than being second time lucky to be roped in for Ahana's launch.

"Yeah, guess this movie would be second coming for all involved," laughs a close associate, "Ever since YAHAAN, Shoojit hasn't had a release to his name. His SHOEBITE with Amitabh Bachchan has been stuck for over 3 years now. Finally with 2ND TIME LUCKY, he has now at least managed to bring a film on floors. Good for him."
