9 Bollywood divas turn 9 Devis of Navratri

With the festival of Navratri around the corner, BIG FM is gearing up for grand celebrations this year. The nine-day festival, celebrated in honor of Goddess Durga, will revolve around the theme '9 Devis of Navratri'. The festival and the show will revolve around the strength of women. The show is scheduled to be on air immediately post the Ganesha festivities, and will run for an entire month.


	KAREENA KAPOOR, PRIYANKA CHOPRA, KATRINA KAIF, DEEPIKA PADUKONE and ANUSHKA SHARMA

This property will be conducted across 29 Hindi speaking markets where the Navratri festival is celebrated. Divided into two parts, the first track called 9 Devis of Bollywood will feature leading Bollywood divas, the likes of Kareena, Priyanka, Katrina, Kajol, Vidya, Aish, Anushka, Deepika and Sonakshi speaking about their favorite Navratri song, favorite movies, fashion statement and what Navratri means to them. On a parallel track will be the show '9 Devis of BIG FM' where 9 lucky girls will be selected via contests run on-air. These girls will get an opportunity to be treated like divas and will be pampered silly for 9 days. On a more serious note these 9 girls will represent the face of women who want to launch a fight against social evils against women prevalent in society.

It enjoys deep-rooted faith nationwide and each year witnesses a feverish fervor in the celebrations.
