Kunal Kapoor wants to do Theatre!

Kunal Kapoor who was away for two weeks has just returned from a short trip on the outskirts of Pondicherry. While the world heads to Auroville to search for peace and quiet, news is that our handsome hunk ended up there to work with a theatre group whose work he has admired for a long time.

Adishakti is a theatre company that uses traditional knowledge of theatre, music and movement in their performances. Apparently Kunal was so impressed by their performances that he headed down south to work with them.

When quizzed about the same the DON 2 actor excitedly quipped, "I have been wanting to work with them for a while. Fortunately the opportunity came up, so I packed my bags and headed to Pondicherry as soon as I could."

Ask him if a play is in the offing, he says, "I'd love to do theatre, but it requires a certain commitment in terms of time, which I can't give right now. But hopefully sometime soon."
